She should follow anyone that share common interests with her and the more people that she follows the more people will follow her back. She should also post links to her written pieces and ask people to RT (re-tweet) to get a laarger audience. Brandon

If she is a writer then she should search for things like AUTHOR, WRITER, PUBLISHER, FREELANCER, READ, READING. She can also look to find who else like the same books or authors that she does. She will have folks following her back relly soon.

You need to have her follow other people and they will then follow her. In fact, like 35% of people that are followed follow back. She can search by common interests under the WHO TO FOLLOW icon on the top right of the Twitter home page. JaneGrant
