Has anybody tried any of these diets? I'm not sure which to try.

Don't diet. If you go on a diet, you will gain all the weight back, maybe even more, once you quit it. What you need to do is adjust your lifestyle so that you can keep it up. Make little changes you can adapt to. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Buy less junk food. Permanent change is what you need.

I personally tried the atkins diet and whilst it does work I found that you become very weak, so I wouldn't overly recommend it

All three are tried and true plans that will cause you to lose weight. What you need to decide is: Do you like mostly meat and dairy? If so, the Atkins is for you. Prefer mostly veggies? Then go for that one. The Zone is more complicated, keeping a balance between fats, proteins and carbs. Much harder to stick to, but probably the most healthy. My best was with Atkins, but I later gained it all back and then some. The key is lifestyle change, not diet change, but hardly anyone succeeds. Nearly all of us return to old habits.
