my sophmore year is coming to a closing&the question is"what do you want to bemy dream is to be an entertainment reporter like on E! or just a magazine journalist"-but i feel like it would be hard to find jobs.my2ndchoice is being a teacher.i want to do what i love but i want to be finacially secure

oh my God! im in exactly the same situation! i keep thinking it depends what you want out of life, if your a family person, want kids young and be close to home etc, maybe teacher? but if you're all up for getting out there and working hard go for the reporting :)

Follow your dream for as long as you can and give it everything you've got. If it doesn't work out then you can go back and try teaching

I take it that you mean that you are a sophomore in HS and not college. It's way too early for you to be getting serious about your career. Many things can and will change by the time you exit college. Sure, keep this career choice in mind but don't stress over it now. VOE

Follow your dreams if they are your real passion you can make it work. Perhaps move to a bigger city if you can and keep hold of a strong job until you tap into the bussiness. Look out for local news reporters visiting the town speak to them they may have connections.
