What to do with this guy?

I like a guy a friend of my brother, he's 5 years older than I am. i really like him and i have liked him for over a year. I see him often and he says hi and smiles. SOmetimes it seems like he's flirting with me. he stops what he's doing so that he can say hi. WHat is going on? what should i do?

i had the same situation, my brother has loads of attractive friends, and one of them i had a crush on and he was always so funny and friendly, one day when he came round my brother was in the shower and we just started making out like crazy, he's 19 and im 15,all the people saying if your under 21 dont do it are just total nuns !

Most likely he is being friendly toward you because he is a friend of your brother. Don't take this too seriously unless he becomes overtly flirty with you. If he is just being friendly, then take it as just that. VOE

If he wants something with you he will make it happen. Since he is 5 years older than you it makes him very much more mature, so i am pretty sure that if he wants something with you he will make a move. If its already been a year, maybe you should move on and enjoy your life. If its mean to be it will happen :)

wait, how old are you? because if he is 5 years older than you and you're under 18 years old, that's illegal but if you're over it then do what your heart feels it should do. If you think you really like him ask if he likes you back :)

DONT CONFRONT HIM !!!!!! ARE YOU CRAZY?? HES YOUR BROTHERS FRIEND!! just put yourselk out there a little more and if he reacts wierdly to it ,then stop, but if he doesnt, then dont. oh, and try to catch him when he's NOT around ur brother. if he is that would just make it super awkward.

Tricky situation cause whilst he might like you he may never make a move because he's friends with your brother. Given this I'd probably leave it alone and find a different boy, but if you're really keen you're going to have to have a chat to him to see if he likes you back. If he does and you guys are to get together you'll need to tell your brother, cause that could get messy

He is only maybe nice to you because your his friends kid sister.. Flirting, smiling and saying hi can be his way of just being nice.. Anybody can flirt with no intentional meaning behind it.. If you really want to know what is the deal... Confront him.. Won't kill you if you do.
