what to do with my boyfriend when college knocks?

i am going to college in the fall. i have always wanted to go far away for school. i am in love with my boyfriend of over a year now and am afraid that if we break up before i leave i will never find someone as wonderful. what do i do?

Long distance just about never works and someone always gets hurt and jealous in the process. Skip it, don't do it, find a guy that is more local and move on. JD

You need to at least try the long distance thing before giving up on the boyfriend. If it proves to be too much, you can always break up later. Katie

You should at least look at a school that is closer and maybe one that is only 2-4 hours away and then you guys can at least see each other on the weekened.

Long distance works! My coussin did it with her BF. She was in chicago and he went away to college in Colorado and they saw each other and both visited and they got married 3 years ago.
