My ex boyfriend the only person who gets me. We were best friends for years. We used to fight frequently but in the end it was worth it. I left him because i was tired of everything and ended up with the current boyfriend. He's kind and fun and we never fight. I still miss the ex.

Go back to the ex. It's the only way that you can get over him. Otherwise, you will always wonder "What if". Once you and he are together again, you will remember why you broke it off the first time, then you can move on. You only gave two options: today's bf and yesterday's bf; as if they are the only two in the world. Your ex is the "only person who gets you". Only what? Only guy in the world? Only guy you know? Only guy you've dated? Unless you live in seclusion or are 98 years old, you are likely to meet more guys. Don't be so limiting in your thinking. VOE

Your ex is an ex for a reason.Think about it , if you do happen to get back with him will those feelings of tiredness and boredom come back? The answer is probably yes. You left him once for a reason and even if you are best friends maybe you should stay as friends? And if your current bf doesnt "get" you then maybe you should also reconsider the bf you have now?
