I've just started dating my girlfriend and she's 17 and I've just turned 20, we have known each other for a few years. i just feel like im to old for her, but she is head over heels for me lol..and i think she is the most gorgeous girl, what do i do??

I am 17 and my boyfriend is 21. We have a great relationship, and as long as both of you and your families are okay with the age difference then its okay. It could definitely work out if you are in the relationship for the long run, because me and my boyfriend are getting married next summer. but you said it yourself, you feel you are too old for her. If you really feel that way, then don't lead her on. If you see her as a child instead of a woman, it won't work out anyway.

A three year difference when you're 30 is not a big deal but at 17 and 20 it's a different story. A lot of maturing takes place during those years and you probably think of her as somewhat childish. If your in this for the long haul, then you can hang in there and wait for her to grow up. I suspect, though, that you want to play the field a little, which is OK as long as you aren't leading her on at the same time. What do YOU want. VOE

it's a 3 year age gap, not that big. If you get along well and you both love each other, what's to stop you from being happy?
