People who are gay know that they are gay and they know it from waaayyy back. Plus, they are attracted to more than just one person. You just have a great friendship!!

If you are gay, you know you are gay. However it is perfectly normal to have these little girl crushes, and guys in turn have what is called a Bromance. Enjoy your friendships and simply keep it at that. PRD

Do you have the desire to have sex with her? If so, you are gay. If not, then you are not. I am going to assume that you are a teenage girl somewhere between 13 and 16 years old. At that age, friendships, especially Best Friends, are immensely important. So important that sometimes a very intense dependency develops from one friend toward the other. Could it be that you have developed such a dependency on your friend and it isn't so much that you are in love with her as it is that you are so dependent on her? Until you figure this out, it is probably best not to say anything to her. No, it's not stupid and no, you shouldn't stop being her friend. Take some time and sort this out before you start reacting to it. VOE

Just because you really like a friend, no matter the sex, does not automatically make you gay. Give some real thought to your feelings before you move forward in any way. Jess
