My sister is shoplifting - help!

I've just found out that my 15 yr old sister is shoplifiting and hanging with a bad crowd. She has been caught in the act before but got off with a warning. I am afraid of where this is all heading and need some advice on how to stop her getting more out of control.

don't tell your parents because then she will never trust you again just tell her its wrong and if she doesn't want to stop at least give her some advice that its best to do it in big stores not small

At this point, a big shock from the Police is the best option. Any less, and she'll keep believing she's smarter than everybody else, and can get away with more and more.

confront her and if that doesn't work then definitely talk to mom and dad about it... but not as thought you're 'telling on her' but as though you care

ask her why shes doing it, it might be peer pressure. Kids these days have the means to do some of the stupidest things thinking they'll look cooler. Talk to her about it... be there as her sister dont try act like a parent

Confront her but don't demand that she stops, instead talk to her and try and understand why she feels the need to do it. Talk from experience and be there for her as a big sister.
