Think about what you want and stick with it. If you stay with the guy then the friendship is over. If you choose the friend, then you can't still have the guy. Do some soul searching. Jess

You need to be honest with both of them. Tell him first how you feel and make sure for certain he likes you back. then the two of you need to be honest with his ex and explain that you are not going to lose both of them
