I am reasonably attractive (i've been told), have a good figure and like to have fun but i'm so shy with guys they never notice me. I feel like my friends are more confident and prettier than me and find it hard to get guys attention, let alone get a date. I dont want to be alone for ever!

i wont argue with any of the options but i think you should just be yourself. dont pretend to be something you're not... because if you do... you'll never find anyone that likes you for who you are!

I met my hubby through online dating, a friend also met hers through online dating, and another friend met her boyfriend of 2 years through online dating. Really just give it a try. Stick to the free sites though. No reason you should pay for it. OKCupid
