Should I tell my mommy ?

I've been with my bf for a 2yrs, and we have sex.I promised my mom though that I'd tell her when I start having sex so she can get me birth control. She's pretty strict though,&I'm nervous that if she finds out she wouldn't give my bf&I alone time. We're both 16, what should I do? I love him.

i'm hoping you've already been using protection, because your putting your health and future at risk if you aren't. definitely tell your mom because at your age a parent should be aware because your clearly too young to be thinking about all the consequeences yourself.

Tbh moms arent stupid she more than likely knows youve had sex, come on youve been together two years.. just talk to her cause shes probs upset you havent already.

you dont have to tell her directly, just say mom i think its time i need to go on birth control, and then if she asks if youve already had sex tell a little white lie and say no not yet i wanted to be responsible and wait till i was completely protected but i think im ready (which you probs should have done before) but that way your mom will think your mature and worry alot less.

whatever the situation your mum is your mum and trust me your mother is your best friend even when you argue and have disagreements and arguments tell her before you start liaying becuase lie goes into bigger lies trust me learn froma horrible exprience xxx hope it helps

Since she already talked to you about it that means she does expect it to happen. Nomatter how upset she might be, you would feel much better after telling her. Go for it.
