Should I let my 8 year old daughter pierce her ears?

My 8 yr old daughter would like to get her ears pierced, like some of her friends. I am OK with it but my husband says she is too young. What should I do?

i had mine done when i was 15 moths old, and now my mother wants me to get them peirced again, but im too scared. Go now before she gets scared and dramatic.

I had my ears pierced when i was 18 months old, i don't remember it, my mum told me i was fine when i had them done though. it was good, i didn't have to bother with them again.
