don't go crazy trying to lose loads of weight, your still young and it can damage the way your body develops. think of it as a new healthy eating and excercise regime. drink LOADS of water, at least 2 or 3 litres a day, it helps rid all the toxins, and keeps you hydrated its also good for the skin. make sure you eat your 5 a day top tip! don't stop eating. eat the things you normally would, but smaller portion sizes. and treat yourself to say a soda on the weekend and one chocolate bar a week or something. cut out WHITE BREAD it so bad for you! and try and take 30 mins of excerise a day or an hour and a half, three days a week. this can just be walking, jogging, running, swimming, cycling, sit up etc!

I don't know if you really need a personal trainer when you can just do it yourself. Exercise every day, even if it is for only 10 minutes. No junk food allowed! MOre fruits and veggies and whole foods....no sugar!

Exercise every day for 15-30 minutes. Eat mostly whole foods and NO white sugar and NO white flour. If you drink soda, stop right away. David

It is sort of a combo of all of this. You need to eat around 1700-2100 calories per day. You need to exercise for 30 minutes 5 to 6 times per week. You need to learn to love your body, not matter what the shape. Brooke

Not heavy weights but enough to make it a challenge to do 15 reps. 3600 calories equals a pound so you are needing to burn 72,000 more calories than you take in to lose 20lbs. This will take some time. Start slow and work up. You should be able to get 20 lbs. off in 3 or 4 months as long as you don't cheat. Oh, and weight yourself daily as a motivator. Once you see the weight coming off, you will be pumped. Ask your parents to help. BUT DO NOT OVERDUE IT. NO PUKING! NO STARVING! NO STUPID STUFF, OK? VOE

Write down everything you eat. That includes amounts such as 1/2 cup of green beans, 1 slice of wheat bread, etc. Include the butter on the bread or ketchup on a burger. Get on the web and find the calorie amount for each item and add them up each day. If you can stay under or around 1500 or 1600 calories, then you are on the right track. No less than 1200, though. Take a fast walk everyday, or if you can, run. Not fast, just move. For at least 30 minutes. Every mile equals about 100 calories whether you are running or walking so track your distance. A quick 30 minute walk should get you about 1.75 miles. A slow run about 2.5 miles. Do some weight training such as push ups, pull ups, curls and presses. Continued.
