I love my bf and we have been together for 4 months. But i think about my old guy sometimes too and we broke up 9 months ago. I loved him sooo much! Now he sent me a friend request and I wanna do it but will it open new feelings or old feelings for him??

I am friends with all of my exes and there is nothing more to it than that. Just cus you didnt work out ROMANTICALLLY does not mean that you guyz cant still be friends.

There is nothing wrong with being friends with an ex, but that is up to you when it comes to whether you can just be friends or if you may still have some residual romantic feelings that you need to deal with. Jess

I have been in your spot before, I was dating my now ex and the guy who I used to be best friends with and dated added me again. The thing is the feelings only come back if you let them. I let mine and that was my downfall. But I had help on mine, my ex wanted me back he kept telling me he loves me and so on and so forth. If your ex gets like this after you have added I say delete and move on.

Some of my best female friends are ex girlfriends. There is no reason not to be friends with an ex. It beats being enemies with them. How it affects you is up to you. As long as you keep your head on straight and realize that he is just another FB friend and nothing more, it will be OK. You don't have to love him and you don't have to hate him. You can just like him as a friend. VOE
