The best thing to do is sit down have a chat to your parents! I mean you live with them everyday, so it's really hard not to see them! Take some time to discuss what you really think, every situation can be solved if you just express what you really feell!!! Their your parents and maybe by letting them know that can then understand what your going through! I hope this helps, Once I was in sort of the same situation as you! Hope everything goes fin!!!!

I'm not sure what you're trying except that you posted your problem seeking some resolution. Someone has to be the adult in this situation. If it's you, then it is really difficult because, well, you aren't an adult. Maybe it would be better to put your thoughts and feelings in a letter rather than in face to face conversation. The problem with that is that they can read whatever emotion that they want. The bottom line is that they need to know that what they are doing is harmful without provoking them. VOE

Continued from last comment: If your conversation with your parents doesn't help even a little, you may need to enlist the help of another adult such as a close family friend, relative, pastor or parent of a friend. Don't even consider running away. I know, it's tempting. But your life will be far worse off than even you can imagine. Work on this on the positive side, not on the negative. The key to solving this is to leave emotion out of it and talk with them as maturely as you possibly can. Good luck. VOE

Don't think for a minute that your parents don't love you but for some reason, there is some disappointment. I'm guessing that the last time you tried to tell them and you got slapped was because emotions were high and you were probably yelling rather than calmly discussing it, and so were they. Sit down with your parents when no one else is around and when the atmosphere isn't so emotionally charged and say, "Sometimes you may not realize it but what you say really hurts my feelings. I love you guys and the things you say about me means a lot to me." Don't accuse them of being mean or deliberatly trying to hurt you. Stay in control of your emotions, don't raise your voice. If they ask, tell them specific things that have been said, when and to whom. Be as mature as you can.
