She was mean without reasons? If you think you did something that hurt her, tell her you're sorry, that you didn't want it. But if she's like that without reasons, ask if she's having some problem in her family or in another social group she's part of. Maybe is it. If is nothing of that, it can be jealous...

You don't say what caused the split so it's not possible to decide if it can be fixed. I suspect that your former friend thinks that you wronged her in some way. What you do about it depends a lot on what happened, how bad you want to restore the friendship and what you are willing to do. VOE
