My friend annoyed because I quit job...

Iv had enough of my job my boss totally belittles me I couldn't take it any longer so I just told them I quit. I txt my friend telling her what happened and she didn't even ask if I was ok or anything! shes annoyed saying was a good job but I'm not goin to stay in a job that's mentally draining me

Quitting your job before securing another one wasn't the smartest move, especially when jobs are so scarce, but that is really your business, not your friend's. I think most people work at stressful jobs so you are not unique. It is likely that you will have jobs in the future that will be just as draining as this one if not moreso. Welcome to the real world. Tell your friend that you understand her concern but that she should understand your reasoning. VOE
