My brother has asked me loan him money

My older brother has asked me to loan him $1000. He has always been a great brother to me and quite generous, however he is being vague about what he wants the money for. He has promised to pay it back within 6 months but I am not sure what to do.

Your brother is family, I think you need to support him and loan him the money. If he let's you down don't ever loan him money again
