hmmm... seems fishy to me. Go with your gut. only you know the way he acts... if he's been distant or weird around you then something's probably up. but if you didn't have any reason to believe something was going on before you saw the number, then its probably nothing (yet). Just communicate (without being irrigating) with your guy. and if it's truly a friendship, ask to hang out with them together... if they truly are just friends it shouldn't be an issue....

There is no such thing as a harmless drink unless it's with a genuine friend or an old auntie or something. He was quick to try and cover this up when you first asked so I say ditch him and move on!

It's not harmless. It's sneaky and that has the potential to hurt you. What motivated him to want to meet her? That is the big question in my mind and "because I was curious" isn't a satisfactory answer. Something's up, here. VOE

As long as he's being honest and not hiding things from you you shouldn't worry. Making a huge deal and acting jealous is only going to push him away and keep him fron always being honest with you.

at least he told you he was meeting her, but still casual drinks is a little shady spesh as they met online, what boy with a girlfriend needs to meet a girl online for casual drinks? very shady actually, i would just ask him about it further, if you still dont think he's being truthful you need to get serious and lay down the law.

All I have to say is who meets on a girl on fb to have a harmless drink!!really need to get into that and talk about it!!!

TALKKKK. communication is key. why did he feel the need to talk to another girl on facebook? does he talk to other girls on facebook? are you okay with that? In order to be in a lasting relationship you both have to be open and honest. You also both have to allow yourselves to be vulnerable. Just be honest about what you want and expect, and see what he has to say. Make your decision from there.

You should stay with him but be very cautious. Try to have a series of honest discussions with him about the status of your romance and if you feel like he is not being honest then you need to dump him. Steph

Why's he meeting girls on fb and going for 'harmless' drinks with them if he's going out with you, would you do the same with boys? I'd be pretty concerned if I was you and I'd be asking for an explanation as to why this is happening as in why he met her in the first place and why he's going for a drink?

Its not a matter or dumping him or staying with him. All you need to do is talk to him about the situation and find out how serious it is. Ask him why he kept this a secret from you. Good luck!

You should have a serious conversation with your boyfriend.a Tell him to be honest and try to be open to him

It shouldn't be a stay with him or dump him situation. You have to talk to him about it and really find out if it is something you should be worried about. If you trust him, than don't be obsessive, but if it is consistent and you see signs of cheating then you really need to put an end to it. But honestly, the first step is to really talk to him and figure things out, it shouldn't be just a decision like that, unless it has happened before. --El
