He is trying to get a reaction from you. He feeds off your mysery. Don't react or respond to him. He will try harder at first but if you stay strong, he will realize that he is wasting his time and quit. It may take a while so you have to be tough. Your boyfriend has to do this, too. VOE

By getting your bf to beat him up I think you'll just highlight to him that its affecting you, just ignore him and he'll go away. So don't respond to him as you'll validate to him that he's getting to you and will keep doing it
