My best friend is moving.

So my best friend is moving, and my life is crashing down. I just don't even know what to do anymore. I feel so depressed all time, and she is the only person I trust. I know this is no dilemma, but it is still a big problem. I feel like crying all the time. What do I do? Any can relate?

It is just a friend and she is not dying. think for a minute what THAT would be like. Then you would feel differently. Keep talking and texting and stay friends from a long way away.

Talk with her about your sadness, but do not make her feel guilty for leaving. Make plans to talk 3 times a week, text 5 times a week and Skype once a week. Then try to make new friends. David

You are putting too much emphasis on this event in your life and I can guarantee that 2 or 5 years from now, this will be a big non-event in your life. Concentrate on others things and keep in touch from a distance. Patti

Ye gawd, girl, she's just moving. She didn't die. There are more ways to communicate today than ever before. I'll bet most of your communication with her is texting anyway, right? And it isn't like you're old women who will never get the chance to be together again. You're waaaay over-reacting to this. VOE
