I am a high school freshman and one of my closest friends is a guy. I have just told my other friends I am interested in being "more than friends with this guy" and that I really like him! They found out he has an equal interest in me, yet he hasn't done anything about it! What should I do???

Lynda is right. You are both waiting on the other to break the ice. If this guy is worth it, and you seem to think he is, then be the one to bring up the subject. Sure it's awkward at first, but within 2 minutes you will be glad that you did. VOE
