Long Distance.. is it worth it?

Hi, I'm a 16 yr old girl and in love with this amazing guy.The only problem is that he lives so far away and I can only see him every few months. I will have to wait 2yrs until Uni so that we can live closer.I don't know if we will last until then.He keeps talking about getting engaged.Should I:

He wants to get engaged as assurance that you won't consider going out with other guys. It's like long distance handcuffs. You are 16. If you were 26, I would give the same advice. Don't get in a committed relationship with someone that you can't be with. It makes no sense. Sure, stay in touch and see each other when you can but don't completely rule out other possibilities. Your too young to know you are absolutely in love. If you really like this guy, be in more of an open relationship and see other people until you can commit to each other if you still have strong feelings until UNI.

16 is too young to make such a commitment, however if the relationship is meant to last it will depending on the effort you both put in to keep it going strong

16 seems waay to young to be making that big of a commitment. just go with this relationship and see what comes out of in at uni. if it doesnt last till then it wasnt meant to be.
