A guy confessed to me and I rejected him . But he said think it over and I'll wait for 2 weeks.He's a jock, and he's popular. I'm shy and quiet. And I think he's just going for looks. But now I keep thinking about him and what he thinks of me. This can't be love right? My heart doesn't beat for him.

Of course he's going for looks. Right now, that's about all he knows about you. Is it love? Certainly not. You don't know each other well enough for that. What it is is attraction, the first step in any relationship. He is attracted to you. Are you attracted to him? If not, then maybe you would be wasting your time. If you are attracted to him a little, it might be worth exploring. It's not like you are making a commitment, it's just a date. VOE
