Is it bad that I've never had a boyfriend?

I'm 14 in 8th Grade and never had a boyfriend, Do you think that's bad? Like I should have one by now?

just because others around you are hooking up and what not doesn't mean you need to have one. i'm 20 years old and have never had a boyfriend. I have lots of guy and girl friends and have had guys ask me out, buy me gifts etc.. but i didn't have feelings for them so i didn't go out with them. you need to be comfortable with yourself, and when the right person comes around, it'll make it worth the wait! you have your whole life to date and be in relationships, enjoy right now when your young and free and just have fun!! xoxo

dude dont even worry about it. im a senior right now and i havent been in any relationship at all (but thats because my parents dont let me) so dont freak out. you dont want to get too distracted by peeps out there.

i am 14 and have had 3 boyfriends and i dont regret them but i defiantly am waiting for the perfect guy, to me, to come along!! i havent even had my first kiss, held hands, or anything else!! its really okay!

Everyone moves at their very own pace and you should not have to force the issue. In fact, a lot of people do not start dating until they are 16 or 17. Be patient!! Sierra

Whys is this so important? Is it because so many of your friends have boyfriends? Don't be so caught up in being like others. Don't be a sheep. Be an individual. Be unique. Be different. Have a boyfriend when the right boy comes along, not just because others have boyfriends. VOE
