I really like this guy and he likes me back, the only problem is that hes 17 and im 14(turning 15 soon). All my friends think its weird and that hes using me, but i actually really like him and i think he likes me back.

He is too old. If he turns 18 then he is a criminal for being with you. Dont do that to someone that you love.

Personally, I don't think that this is a big deal and he is not really that old for you. However, if he is about to turn 18 that would make him an adult...and 15, 18 is too big of a gap. David

15 and 17 is not that big of an age gap. As long as you want to pursue this relationship, your parents aren't opposed and he is not pressuring you sexually, then just have fun with it. Steph

I'm wondering what it is that your friends think that he's using you for? Are you having sex with him at 14? I hope not. Yeah, a 14 and a 17 yr. old dating is weird. I also wonder why a 17 year old can't find someone his own age to date. This whole thing is sending up red flags all over the place. I recommend that you don't continue. VOE

The age difference is a little scary. You shouldn't date him at your age you are too young. if he really likes you he will wait until you are 16-17
