I have been dating this guy for 3 yrs and everything is great. BUT, I still fantasize about my ex -- and he has totally moved on from me & is even married now. I obsess over being with him and have even driven past his house to imagine being in there with him. I am so confused!!!

this is crazy. i have the same problem. but my ex is named josh. i dont drive past his house though. but he is married. i try to forget. HE IS MARRIED. and i dont want to be a homerecker. besides. he's happy now.

You need to put all of this behind you && love the one you are with!! You need to stop being a stalker!! You need to figure out why you are thinking about him, but still stop thinking about him!

Fantasizing about an ex for three years, one who is now even married, is beyond obsessive and has moved in the realm of creepy. You have developed this image of him that is outside the bounds of reality. He isn't who or what you think he is. You may need help to get over him. You are cheating yourself out of a great time with Josh if you spend your time thinking about the ex. It isn't fair to you or to Josh. Get some help. VOE
