In love with an older guy

I'm 17, he's 52, and I work with him. He's quiet, nice smart, and he really doesn't seem that old. He's never tried to make a move on me (obviously), so it's hard to tell if he likes me. I've never been in a relationship, never have I told a guy that I liked him, and I start college in the fall.

You're about to start college, there will be great guys everywhere. So just wait until you get there, it will be a different world and you can find a great relationship.

He may not seem that old, but he is that old. Don't do it. There are plenty of nice, quiet and smart guys closer to your age and who will have a lot more in common with you and your interests than this guy, especially in college. I'm sure he's a decent person but you will only screw up both your lives if you get involved with him romantically. VOE

I think for your first relationship you should find someone closer to your own age. I'm sure he's nice and smart but you can also find guys like that who are 18/19yrs old.
