Do what is best for you. I'm sure your friend isn't in love, but at the same time you don't want to lose her trust, or hurt her. I would talk to her about the whole situation and see how she feels about you having feelings for this boy.

try to talk to ur frnd and tell her hes been flirting with me obv but i know u like him so ill back off , if she tells u its alright then flirt back but take it slowly with the guy so ur frnd can get used to it

Don't try and flirt with him, that would just be being mean to your friend, because you know she likes him. If he doesn't like her, then he doesn't like her, but its still about being a good friend. You wouldn't want to lose a friend for some guy. --El
