I NEED TO CONVINCE MY PARENTS TO LET ME GET MY BELLY PIERCED

my parents keep on saying no to letting me get my belly button pierced but i wanted it for a long time. Can you help me figure out what to say to them that will convince them to let me do it? My mom keeps saying how it will leave a big whole in my stomach when im older, i dont really care though.

Maybe you are just too young. I dont think you can even legally do this until you are older. But you need to listen to your parents. And wait.

Ask your parents why you are not allowed to do this. Maybe they have some sort of legitimate reason for being concerned (because you play sports??). Have a mature convo and see where it takes you. Steph

Talk to them and come to an agreement. Maybe you will have to wait until you are 15 or 16. Maybe you need to wait until you can pay for it yourself. Maybe you can get it done once you show some responsibility via cleaning your room or doing chores. Jess
