First off, never try to make a guy jealous. It'll never end well. Second, try being friends with him first. If you already are, hang out with him more and more. Bring up the subject, if you're talking about something relavent, who he likes.

If you really want to get off on the wrong foot, start by playing games like trying to make him jealous. Instead, get rid of the idea of drama and walk up to this guy like a mature person(face to face) when there is no one nearby to overhear and tell him that you've been noticing him and wonder if he would like to hang out. It takes courage but it's more effective that playing games. If he says yes, then you can take it from there. If he says no, then you smile and say, "OK, I just wondered." and walk away. Don't show any disappointment or say anything more, just walk away. You can do it, you really can. VOE
