I've been dating this guy for like 6 months, but over that time I started liking his friend. We became close and we have way more in common too. What should I do?

Just break up, obviously not going to work with current bf

It's good that you found someone that is in common with you! But don't you think by you breaking up with your bf now, and then later dating his friend is abit awkward? Your bf will start to question, and then his friendship would be ruined! But that's really up to your conscience you really need to think through what is right? and wrong!

oh my goodness i have just gone thru this and trust me, if your friend feels the same go for it, i am so much happier and he treats me the way i deserve to be treated!! i think you would be happier too and i reccomend leaving yur bf that u hav no feelings for, for the 1 whos obvously better 4 u!! :)

If you start seeing your current boyfriend's friend, you will break up their friendship. Do you want to be responsible for that or is your own self interest more important to you? It sounds like you are misleading your current boyfriend so you should cut him loose, but don't do further damage and add more to the hurt by dating his friend. That's just mean. VOE
