Hints for saving money

I am 21 years old and in college. I have a part time job and I make like $210 a week. I have just a few expenses like a car payment which is $319 a month. I buy cigareetes a few times a month and spend about $225 a month on clothes and shoes. Dont make me stop shopping! How do i save money???

Ditch the car loan and get a car that you can own outright. And maybe quit smoking as well?? Better for your wallet AND health!

You need to look at your car loan. That is way too high! I would think that someone with your income would have a car loan of closer to $175 to $200. Can you get out of the loan? Get a cheaper car? David

Your total income is $840 and your total expenses are about $564. This still leaves $276 unaccounted for each month, so you need to start by figuring out where that money is going. Also your car loan is REALLY high for someone with a limited income, so look into downsizing that. Patti

Cut all of your expenses down by one third and you will be well on your way. When you shop, so to an outlet store...or an online outlet store. Steph
