Girlfriend, never had one

am i the only seveteen year old that has never had a gf? all of my friends have had at least two. i have had none. i am a nice guy from a good family. i can be shy but not all of the time. i am worried about being weird.

Totally normal, but remember to make an effort. Be confident in yourself, but not arrogant. Girls usually want to the boy to ask out, text etc first. So go do it! Best of luck xx

This is fairly normal and you should not stress about it. In fact, the more stressed and 'desperate' you seem, the more girls are likely to be turned off.....instead, relax and make plenty of female friends....it will happen for you!Jess

Your only problem is that you compare yourself to others. Don't try to keep up with your friends. It's not about numbers, it's about quality. I have a feeling that once you have a girlfriend, she will be a really special person and one whom you spend a lot of time with rather than just a short term. If you have an interest in someone, do they know? Why not? Take a deep breath, and go do it. It really doesn't hurt and the benefits are worth it. VOE
