it will be SO WRONG if you go for the guy! she's your friend, and shouldn't you be a friend first before girlfriend with a guy??? i mean even if you talk to her and she says she's ok with you go out with this guy she really like! it will be wrong if you do it, because you know a girl doesn't forget a guy that quickly and i assure you she still like him! so be a good friend and be there for this girl, guys are a million out there, real friends just a few!

Why don't you just talk to your friend? That would be the most logical thing to do at this point because if he appears to like you and if you like him, all you need to do is talk to your friend. Explain the situation and how you didn't want to do anything until you spoke with her. I think she will respect you for doing that and if she is a good friend she will give you the go ahead! -Dr. Dcyder
