Hi everyone, I am gay and in highschool. I have trouble coping with being comfortable with my gay self. I really want to come out of the closet but the kids in my highschool would make fun of me! Plus my dad would flip out if he knew his only son was gay...

This must be so hard for you && maybe even the hardest thing you have ever done in your entire life. Tell your parents first and tell them that you have not changed and that you just felt like you should be honest with them.

Come out slowly to those that you trust and those you feel the most safe with. As you tell more people, it will get easier and easier. Your father will love you no matter what..trust me!

Look, I know what you're going through. It takes time to be sure if you're gay or not. And when you are, one of the hardest thing to do is to tell people. But, if you're father, friends, all the people around you love you, then it doesn't matter if you're gay. So you'll feel better when you have told someone. Ed
