Friend problems

Have this friend she is forever depressed and talks to no-one when she is. She like's no-one and no-one likes her me and my other friend are trying to stay away. The other problem is that if we leave her she has no-one, I'm trying to enjoy my last year at school and shes spoiling everything.

Maybe she has an issue that she needs help with. Its really not normal to be depressed all of the time. Why did you become friends with her in the first place? She must have some qualities that you liked! SO what happened to that person. Maybe she needs to be on medication or maybe something is going on at home that she isn't telling you about. I do think you can at least try to help her, explain your concerns, tell her you want to be her friend, but she needs to work on being more positive. if that means seeing a doctor or going on meds, or whatever, try to encourage her to do that. Try to be supportive.

Stay friends but not too close. You aren't her psychiatrist. She will drag you down with her if you let her. She needs help and you can only do so much. VOE

She is cleary very lonely and perhaps sad and angry inside. Perhaps she has problems at school. Im sure she is not intentionally trying to spoil your school life but you need to enjoy your final year too. Talk to her and find out what her problems are. Dont abandon her.
