Embarrassing Parents!!!

My parents are just as bad && it is getting to where I cant stand to have my friends over && so we just meet up somewhere else like the park or something.

ask them to cool it with the not so funny jokes but you think its really embarssing but its not as bad as you think!!!

Guess what?? Everyone thinks that their parents are en embarrassment. But unless they are walking around naked or something, there is is nothing you can. I'm sure your friends feelt he same way about their parents and aren't even giving yours a second thought. Tiffany

You just described about 90% of all parents. Nearly all of them embarrass their kids, although that isn't their intent. You don't notice it with your friend's parents because it is your friends who are embarrassed with their parents. Their parents really don't come off as all that bad to you. And your parents don't seem all that bad to your friends. Your friends aren't going to abandon you because of your parents any more than you would abandon them over theirs. Give your folks a break. At least they care about you and your friends. It could be worse. At least they are just talking with your friends and making dumb jokes and not criticizing or belittling them. They sound pretty normal to me. VOE
