I have been dating this guy for about 3 weeks.Recently I had gotten upset about something between us and I want to talk about it.All we do is text,and would like to talk on the phone more.I texted him saying I was upset and would like to talk but,he is at a party.is it to early to get mad bout this?

I think that it is too early to be fighting over this. If you guys only text then you can't fault him for not speaking to you on the phone. When you get an opportunity, just discuss the reason you are upset and discuss that you would like to be able to talk on the phone too. Relationships need to have communication. -Dr. Dcyder

I HATE talking on the phone with boys so I rather text but just talk to him face to face it's better that way, but just say how upset you are and he will understand if they love you then he will, and after that call him quite recently so you don't lose eachother in a relationship way. xo

Some people just don't like talking on the phone, I know I don't, but either way if he's at a party its prob not the best time to be having that chat with him anyway. Find a time when you can sit down together face to face and talk it out

You should not be angry about this but at least concerned enough that you talk to him about it. If you get too angry he will just back away from you. Try to very gently talk to him about it. TJ

Was he at the party when you texted him about talking? If so, did you expect him to immediately leave the party to talk with you? If your forehead wasn't on fire and it wasn't a matter of life and death, couldn't it wait until he was available? Whatever your problem is, it can't be too serious after only 3 weeks. VOE

It`s hard not to get mad at him, but he is used to you guys just texting so he is oblivious to the fact that you want to talk on the phone more (guys are stupid like that). So don`t get mad yet...you need to discuss this issue with him, see how he reacts and if he changes...then i'd say you are not overreacting if you are mad. SMC
