my best friend is a boy. we have been best friends for 3 years. we have fun together. we are both 15 years of age. all of my friends think it is not normal to have a boy for a best friend. so, is it?

I kind of think they may be jealous too and I see nothing wrong with boys and girls being close friends. Ignore them and enjoy your friendship! JaneGrant

Your friends are jealous because you have a boy for a best friend. There is nothing unusual or abnormal about it. Having a boy for a best friend helps you see things from a guys perspective and helps him see things from a girls perspective. That's not abnormal, that's smart. VOE
