Suppose that your boyfriend suddenly became close friends with a girl and they spend time together going to school activities. Suppose that they aren't just friends but best friends. How would you feel about that? I'm not defending your bf's friends and their rumors but if you were in his place you might feel the same. It's interesting that you felt the need to mention that there is no "spark" between you and your bf anymore. Also you describe your feelings as that you believe you love him but you KNOW that he loves you. You are trying to convince yourself to break up so that you can move on to your guy friend. The problelm is, my best friend is a guy. He has a crush on me, but not big enough to act upon it. My boyfriend doesnt know this, but he doesnt like that he's a guy. I don't hang out with him outside of school or sports games. He drives me to the games, and that makes my boyfriend mad. It also makes his parents mad. They don't like the fact that he drives me places. My boyfriends friends are getting involved in me and my best friend's relationship also. Theyre making up rumors, saying stuff about me to make my boyfriend mad, and to try to break me and my friend apart. I know i wont break up with my boyfriend, if anything he's gonna break up with me.
