Your job right now is to be just a friend. Whatever he needs from you (talking,hanging out, etc) is what you should do. Sometime down the road you can tell him about your feelings. David

You should support your friend since his heart is broken and then give him some time to get over this. Then, after a bit of time, tell him that you like him as more than just friends!

He's your friend. Of course you should express your sorrow that she dumped him. It might be a little too soon to let him know of your feelings. It would seem like you are trying to take advantage of his misfortune. But continuing to talk with him and comfort him is what friends do. After a few weeks, you could resume flirting and let him know how you feel. VOE
