I am a great writer and everyone says so. I get all A's in English class and love writing, not just fiction but also non-fiction. I don't think I need college to be a great author but my parents are fighting me on this. I am 17 years old.

College is the only way to go! not only do you need the education to be a sucess in your life but college is loads of fun! You will learn about other things for your journalism carreer such as business and psychology!

Going to college will do so much for your writing. It will expand your world and expose you to such a variety of people, cultures, beliefs and lifestyles. It will also expand your vocabulary and the classes will help you refine your style and improve your overall writing technique. Don't ever think that you've learned enough. There is power in knowledge and even more in communication. Get all of the knowledge that you can and continue to improve your communication/writing skills. You may very well be the next J.K. Rowling. VOE
