Am i ugly, or just shy?

Many of my friends have dates/have been asked to go with someone on junior prom, but i haven't. I didn't think i'm ugly until now. I told my friend no one asked me, and she was surprised. But i don't interact a lot with boys from other classes, and boys from mine are more like friends than dates.

Maybe you are too shy and need to out yourself out there a bit more. Also, if you are really super cute guys may be intimidated by that!! In either case, why not just be bold and ask some guy yourself?!Steph

I doubt if your looks are standing in the way of getting a prom date. It's more likely your shy personality. Shyness may seem cute but in reality, it gets you nowhere. Not much you can do about that as far as the prom goes so you'll either have to ask a guy or let some of your friends fix you up. It would be better if you did it yourself. Somewhere in your school there is a nice guy, or guys, who is also shy and doesn't have a prom date. Find out who he or they are and ask. It won't hurt, I promise. VOE
