I dated a nice gurl for 8 months but she dumped me just before Christmas. I want her back so bad! There must be a way. How do you get back your true love?? She is still talking to me but more like friends and even asked my advise on some new guy she was texting but I think she is testing me???

It sounds like it is very painful for you to remain friends with her, so slowly stop that part of the relationship and walk away from her for now. Maybe you can be friends in the future, when your feelings have simmered down a bit.

girls are very VERY confusing. they honestly don't know what they want. If she keeps flirting and showing interest maybe bring up that you still have feelings for her. But don't get your hopes up. Girls are confusing. Hope everything works out for you :)
