I've recently discovered that the girl I like is a year younger than she first told me, I turned 18 two months ago and she's turning 15 in November. The relationship isn't sexual but I'm still concerned the age gap is too much

First of all, she kind of lied to you. I know. It was just so you would take an interest in her but still, it was deceitful. Shame on her. Secondly, yes, 18 and 15 is too much of a gap. Because she is under 16 (in most states) you could be charged with child molesting if you so much as touched her breast. To some, age may just be a number, but age does count and it does mean something. It would be different if you were 28 and she were 25. You would be smart to not let this go any farther. VOE
