Acne

I have bad acne and my mom said she had it when she was a kid too and she just dealed with it and it never stoped her from having boyfriends. I feel like it it ruining my life and it is all I can think about not to mention no bf ever. Can i treat it??

Go to a dermatologist since they can give you really strong medication and will give you even more real advice on what to do.

My friends went to the dermatologist and he gave her a cream and even though it turn her face dark pink for like the first day it got rid of ALLLL of the pimples!!

Wash your face every single evening before you go to bed. Always take your makeup off before hitting the sheets. DO NOT pick pimples since this will make scars.

Tell your mother that you want to see an MD about this, esp if it is really bad. Even though it did not negatively affect her life, you are a different person. Brandon

Wash your face at once once per day, althought twice would be even better. Do not touch your face or pop pimples. Apply benzoyl peroxide after washing. If it is really bad, ask your mother to take you to a dermatologist. Jess

Accutane is a wonder drug that works and works well. Unfortunately there can be some severe side effects. Ask you parents to take you to a dermatologist and get evaluated for accutane. If you begin using it, your dermatologist will want to keep a close watch on you for signs of side effects. I know a boy with severe acne, and I mean skin like raw hamburger. After a couple of months on accutane, his skin is as if he never had it. It's not for every one but it does work for many. Look into it. VOE
