I was at a small cottage with my bestfriend and her family, her brother(12)also brough a friend He got an crush on me and when I got home he started texting me. like "you're hot!<3" I thougth he was joking and answerd "I know i'm gorgeous" now he sent me "you know, I really like you" what can I do?

You're making way more of this than you should be. If you want to tell him, just call him on the phone and explain it all to him. Don't wait until September, you are only leading him on. Do it now. My problem here(as the dilemmamaker) is that it is summerbreak, I dont want to say it over phone( akward and mean) and over a text is kind of heartless! So I have to wait untill september to talk to him. My problem is that is have slowly lost contact, just texting and stuff, but I never keep my phone close to me, so I hardly answer anybody nowadays. Where should I talk to him? Go to the movies and say it after? I have to create antoher dilemma!!!

DONT DISTANCE URSELF FROM HIM!!!!!! a guy did that to me and i feel like crap- i would be ok if he just told me, though. Just tell him, you know i think ur cool but i only like u as a friend. you can talk to him once in a while but dont like cut urself off from him thats more heartless than saying leave me alone

dont lead him on he is twelve, and your not going to break his heart when he is twelve and has a crush on you, he'll get over it im sure!

If you do not like him in a romantic way, simply say that.Say....I like you as a friend and that is about it. The thing you should NOT do is lead him on in any way, since that is not nice. PRD

I think you should talk to him and say how you feel about him texting you such things. Just argue that he is the younger brother of your best friend and that this ain't happening between you two. The age might also be a problem. Be nice to him :) Maybe your his first crush...
